Mail-In Sale Terms

Important: These terms should be reviewed for compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws before the mail-in service launches.

1. Free Evaluation and No Obligation

Submitting property, participating in a Live Zoom Evaluation, receiving a free evaluation, or receiving an offer does not obligate you to sell. There is no evaluation, appraisal, Zoom, testing, weighing, consultation, or inspection fee.

2. Shipping and Insurance

Only qualifying packages shipped using approved instructions are eligible for applicable coverage. Insurance limits, exclusions, packaging requirements, carrier procedures, and conditions are provided with the shipping instructions. Coverage is not unlimited.

3. Live Package Opening and Evaluation

For transactions using the live service, we intend to show the sealed package before opening, open and document it during the scheduled Zoom session, and display applicable weighing when practical. Evaluations are purchase evaluations, not certified appraisals unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Offers and Consent

Receiving an offer is not consent to sell. A sale proceeds only after you accept the final offer and review and electronically sign the Consent to Sell Agreement Form. Declining an offer does not present or require that form.

5. Declined Offers and Returns

If you decline the offer and request your property returned, the evaluation remains free. Return is subject only to the disclosed 10% restocking/processing fee plus applicable FedEx return shipping and insurance charges. The exact calculation, return procedure, and payment timing will be disclosed before shipment.

6. Accepted Offers and Payment

Available methods may include Zelle, company check, and approved cash arrangements. Availability, limits, identity verification, legal requirements, and processing times vary. Physical cash is not automatically mailed.

7. Seven-Day Reconsideration

If you accept an offer and request an eligible reversal within seven calendar days, you must follow the written reversal procedure, return or repay all consideration received, and pay the disclosed 10% restocking/processing fee plus applicable FedEx shipping and insurance charges. Eligibility may depend on whether the property remains available and unaltered. After the applicable seven-day period expires, all sales are final.

8. Ownership and Identity

You must certify that you lawfully own the property or have legal authority to sell it, and that it is not stolen, unlawfully possessed, pledged, or disputed. Identity and age verification may be required.

9. When the Transaction Becomes Final

The customer-facing Consent to Sell Agreement Form states the final offer, payment method, transaction date, applicable fees, ownership-transfer terms, and the point at which the transaction becomes final. Those transaction-specific terms control if they differ from this summary.
